Raising Funds for a Good Cause: Cooking with the Chef Event to Benefit Lower Makefield 9/11 Memorial Garden of Reflection







































On Tuesday, February 5, 2008, Yardley Inn Executive Chef Eben Copple will host an evening of culinary instruction to benefit the Lower Makefield 9/11 Garden of Reflection. The cooking demonstration kicks off at 7 p.m. and runs through 9:15 p.m. Admission is $35 per person and all proceeds go directly to the 9/11 Garden of Reflection for upkeep and maintenance of the gardens.

The Cooking with the Chef Fundraiser will include food tastings, recipes, and complimentary wine. Seating is limited, so please make your reservations early by calling 215-493-3800.

Recipes will be available for publication closer to the date of the event and high resolution photographs will be available following the event.

The Yardley Inn is located at 82 East Afton Avenue in Yardley, Pa. Hours of operation are: Monday - Saturday afternoons from 11:30 - 2:30 p.m. and Lite Lunch after 2:30, and evenings, Monday - Thursday from 5:15 – 10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5:15 - 10:30 p.m.; with Bar Menu available till midnight; and Sunday from 4:30 - 9 p.m., with Sunday Brunch available from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Visit the Yardley Inn on the Web at www.yardleyinn.com.

Our friends Bob Freed and Michele Mohollen are hosting another fundraiser for the Garden raising much needed funds.
